Analog Hardware Engineer

Summary Position
Your role revolves around the comprehensive development of analog board-level circuit designs. This entails conducting simulations, crafting layouts, and executing validations to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications. You will be responsible for product characterization, implementing necessary hardware or software modifications to align with defined product parameters, and overseeing the prototyping, troubleshooting, and qualification processes of circuits.
Responsibilities:
- Formulates analog board-level circuit designs, simulations, layouts, and validations.
- Develop and complete all documentation related to new product development phases.
- Creates presentations for internal and external customers using software tools to analyze data and create graphics.
- Presents data at preliminary and critical design reviews.
- Conducts product characterization and hardware/software development or modification to meet the required product definition.
- Performs prototyping, troubleshooting, and qualifying of circuits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Physics or equivalent experience with emphasis in analog circuit design.
- US. Citizen
- Familiarity with PCB design tools, preferably Mentor Graphics, and microcontroller-based systems TI and Microchip.
- Exposure to I/O communication protocols (SPI, USB, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project).
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and determine solutions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Good and/or corrected vision and can distinguish colors.
- Lifting, bending, walking, ability to sit or stand for long periods.
- Mobility and full dexterity
- Capable of functioning in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines, working multiple job functions, and dealing with stressful situations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
